The PMBOK® Guide, 4th Edition (2008) , is the International standard for project management from the Project Management Institute (PMI). This is a new and improved version of the Year 2003 guide, complete with new processes, procedures and standards for project management excellence. This 2008 edition is the version that all certified project managers (PMPs,) project offices and project managers should be using on their projects going forward.
